Typography to me is one of the most interesting fields in graphic design. A font allways carries the tone of the words that are written in it. Fonts can be welcoming or daunting, they can be human and warm or constucted and cold, they can be playfull or serious and they can be exceptionally beautiful.
At MSD I developed Wolfgang – my own version of an existing font, wich is barely held together by our imagination, but tries to fall apart at any moment.
Also I took part in a workshop where we created letters from any material we could find. I loved having the letter R as it has a straight line, a slanted line and a rounded part, so it incorporates all possible parts of a letter and is therefor very special and absolutely distinctive.
